We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from EcoCooks! Recently, CBC Radio Canada made a special visit to one of our Club workshops in Metro Vancouver, and we couldn’t be prouder of our youth chefs. 🎙️
A Day of Cooking, Learning, and Fun
At EcoCooks, we empower youth with hands-on cooking experiences that promote sustainability, nutrition, and food literacy. During this workshop, our talented young chefs not only showcased their incredible culinary skills but also engaged in fun, eco-themed games that reinforced the importance of climate-friendly food choices.
The energy in the room was amazing—laughter, teamwork, and delicious aromas filled the air as our participants prepared tasty, plant-based meals with locally sourced ingredients. It was an inspiring moment to witness how excited the youth were about making a difference through food! 🌎
